Hello everyone,

I often see topics about the overhaul of the championships.
This morning, following this topic :
#forum?topic=167681

I wondered whether we shouldn't end up creating championships with time slots.

We all have lives with different constraints, and our constraints can change very quickly over the course of a lifetime.

My proposal is to create championships with time slots to facilitate meetings.

I'm thinking in particular of people who work shifts, or people who are abroad, and fathers/mothers with families.
Best regards hydilik

Well done.
Already proposed, and ignored (topic and audio).
But it has the merit of re-launching 🙂

Aymeric has been ignoring foreigners, people who work at parties and the like for almost 20 years now. Not sure that's going to change, unfortunately. So we'll just have to live with it and draw a line under all the cups and the championship (if we choose not to take the vip pack for the field). Vf, the game that wanted to go international, without thinking about everything and everyone.

But, as Magpie says, it has the merit of existing and relaunching from time to time.

Enjoy your reading.

Other than that, I remember a post on "overhauling the championships" in which, in post 3 or 4, I proposed a staggered championship. I can't find it again.
The MDJ didn't say no that time.
But the project fell through

I agree
Today with my lifestyle
I'm the father of a 10-month-old girl and I work in the retail sector, with shifted working hours
I absolutely cannot follow matches for 1h30
Whether in the field or in IE
It's too restrictive

Bonne lecture.

Thank you for your feedback. I hadn't realised that the proposal had already been made.

Unfortunately, Aymeric hasn't really been on the forum for a while now

What really annoys me is the championship matches at 4.30pm, which ruin all my seasons. I work at that time, so it's impossible to follow the games. I took another box today because I couldn't adjust my team, it's disgusting. I have 4-5 games like that every season and it makes me want to stop playing. What's the point if I lose all the championships because I can't get online?
I don't understand this schedule during "normal office hours".
Of course some people work at 8pm and a match at 4.30pm is convenient for them, but is that the majority? For people with normal working hours like me, being on the game at 8pm or not is a personal choice, whereas at 4.30pm we have no choice...
At least we could perhaps choose a time slot when we can't play. Unless the aim is to make us pay to change match times via the VF store, which I refuse to do.

Unfortunately, you can always take out a subscription :/

The best thing to do would be to resign, because in the end it's the job that's preventing him from fulfilling his potential on VF.

I've got a job where I can play at midday or midnight if there's no emergency 😁 if I'm not 100% for a match it's no big deal, even when I was in d1

yes, it's sometimes frustrating but that's the way it is. we all have constraints that make us miss matches.

The idea of having flexible schedules for countries/territories that are in different time zones. But for the others, there's no reason.

And yes, it's probably also to make you pay to change your schedule if you're not happy.

What we need is to have the same timetables for each championship, so that people register for the championships knowing the match times.
For example: Ile de France all matches at 5pm, Normandy all matches at 5.30pm, Alsace, 6pm, etc. There will inevitably be some duplication, but at least it will help clubs to be present.

it doesn't solve all the problems and it creates other injustices:
as a result, those whose working hours change will sometimes be able to attend a match and sometimes not, whereas those who have office hours will be able to attend all the matches,
those who pay will be able to change the timetable of a championship while others have joined that same championship for the timetable,
there will be completely overbooked leagues and others with 3 teams,
and so many other things we don't even think about.

as Lebaygue said in his own way, it's only a game, if you can make it to your match then all the better, if not then too bad. And then there's always the option of paying to change the schedule if you really want to.
