57 days agoNo American football fans?
I've been watching SB for over 25 years. I've seen several NFL games in my life. 3x in London and 1x in New York. And this year, I've got 3 weeks in the USA where I've seen the Saints, 3 university games including one at LSU in front of 100,000 spectators and also an NHL game in Nashville.
I've been a poor Giants fan for 10 years.

52 days agoI used to watch a lot of the NCAA championship when I was younger and it was shown on ESPN via Canal Satellite.
I used to love it.
If I had to choose an NFL team, it would be the New Orleans Saints, but I also followed the Tampay Bay Buccaneers quite a bit until they won the SB in 2003 with Mike 'A-train' Alstott, perhaps the greatest fullback of all time.
I also loved Brett Favre and the Green Bay Packers.
I was a fan of Mickaël Vick in his early days, in university and then with the Falcons. He was electric on the field

I really like the university championship, it's more unbridled and has a better atmosphere. I've been following it for years and it's cool to see the next generation of NFL players ahead of their time.
I've found 1 or 2 guys who also like my league. But the forums are quiet, I think we're a bit more than that

48 days agoFrankly, American football doesn't appeal to me at all.
On the other hand, every year I look forward to the half-time show, and I even watch them several times on toi-tube ... even those from previous years.
For those interested in the history of this mini-show, it's very interesting to know that the NFL used to do something cheesy with university bands and that Jim Carrey, on a rival channel, used to steal audiences from them during half-time with a timed show (for those who didn't want to miss the restart of the game).
So the following year, the NFL asked Michael Jackson to put on a show, and the tradition of kick-ass half-time concerts was born!
And this year it's :

Kendrick Lamar, with his 5 Grammy awards ... a first for a dis-track (against Drake, the pedo and mytho), who tore it up.
I'll quote Wikipedia for those who aren't very hip-hop fans and missed the phenomenon:
Heart with fingers ... as they say ^^wikipédia FR : Often considered one of the greatest rappers of all time, he is the only musician outside the classical and jazz genres to have received the Pulitzer Prize for Music. Critics generally believe that his steady infusion of political criticism and social commentary has influenced the emergence of a social conscience within his generation. He has been repeatedly dubbed the "new King of Hip-hop"

48 days ago2 things I know about giants is the brand of my bike 😁
And the second thing is that I came close to doing some US football in the north of France and wanted to create a team
It didn't happen for 2 reasons
First equipment and insurance between 5000 and 8000 frs the second despite my 1.85m I was one of the smallest and I do not tell you the width.
So I took up normal football and played in a lot of European tournaments
